 Overview

Talent Academy seized the opportunity to introduce the Highways Design Course, in order to provide the labor market with well-qualified and educated fellows who are interested in Highways.

Highways design creates a better quality of life for Highways users and can increase human safety and productivity as the users can save time to reach their destination. The main focus of the course is to produce a highway engineer who is capable of designing an excellent design to reach maximum user benefit and achieve sustainability aims in Highways design.

 

Pre-requisites

Basic knowledge of Civil and External Works is preferable to join this course

 

Objectives

1. Recognize roads hierarchy.

2. Recognize cross sections elements of roads.

  

a. Apply horizontal alignment principles in geometric design.

b. Apply vertical alignment principles in geometric design.

c. Learning how to conduct structural design of flexible pavement and rigid pavement.

d. Recognize different types of intersections and interchanges

e. Some applications on Highways geometric design on Civil 3D.

This course program is designed for the improvement of professionals, architects, civilians and urban planners who are keen to enhance their designing skills and applying tools.
